Privacy notice

This notice describes the personal data Britxor handles through this website. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Who is responsible

Britxor is the controller for the personal data described here. For anything in this notice, including the requests set out in section 06, write to hello@britxor.com.

The registered entity details are published in the legal notice.

What we collect

This site has one place where you can give us personal data: the contact form. When you submit it, we receive what you typed:

  • Your name
  • Your work email address
  • Your company
  • Your role, if you chose to add it
  • The area of work you selected, if you chose one
  • The message describing what you are trying to solve

The form also contains one hidden field that is not shown to you. It exists to catch automated submissions. If it is filled in, the message is discarded.

What we do with it

We use what you send to reply to you and, if the conversation continues, to scope and discuss the work. Nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else's marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list or an automated sequence.

The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you initiated, and, where a contract follows, the steps taken at your request before entering into it.

Cookies, analytics and fonts

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising trackers, no session recording and no A/B testing tools. Nothing on the page profiles you.

The typeface is self-hosted and served from this site's own domain, so loading a page sends no request to Google Fonts or any other third-party font service.

If that ever changes, this notice changes with it, and the date at the top of this page moves.

Hosting and technical logs

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, the infrastructure processes technical request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp — to deliver pages, keep the service available and defend it against abuse. These logs are retained for a short operational period and are not used to build a profile of you.

Enquiries you send through the form are delivered by email and are retained in our correspondence for as long as the commercial relationship or its prospect is live, and afterwards only for as long as a legal or accounting obligation requires.

Your rights

Where data protection law applies to you, including under the UK and EU GDPR, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or hand it to you in a portable form. You can also withdraw consent where consent is what we relied on.

Write to hello@britxor.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Changes to this notice

When this notice changes materially, the date at the top of the page is updated. We do not make silent revisions.
